Yesterday our Health and Social Care learners were joined by Nicole from
Wearside Women in Need
. Established in 1983, WWiN provides accessible community-based services to women and children at risk of, or suffering, abuse.
Nicole spoke to our Level 1 and 2 Learners about Domestic Abuse and the support they can provide. Nicole explained how they can support survivors, and how they can support our learners once working in the care sector. An insightful and informative session, thank you Nicole!
