To provide care in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures,

agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the

Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time to time.

Main Duties: (Not in any order of priority)

1. Develop effective working relationships with the other employees’ within the home.

2. Support an open, positive and inclusive working culture.

3. Participate in the development of the home’s policies.

4. Participate in evaluation of the home against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives.

5. Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.

6. Minimise legal risks.

7. Participate in the maintenance of the home’s management information systems.

8. Assist in the formulation and implementation of care policies and procedures.

9. Assist the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the home.

10. Act within the home’s budget based on the home’s objectives and within the projected revenue.

11. Work in a cost-effective manner.

12. Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the home’s quality assurance programme.

13. Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision.

14. Systematically solve day to day problematic issues which arise.

Main Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger:

· To process purchase orders along with the purchasing department

· To process delivery tickets along with the purchasing department

· To process supplier invoices, log any queries and work with the suppliers and project managers to resolve

· To reconcile supplier statements with the financial system and request any copies and inform of any queries

· To compile a list of creditors for payment and proposed dates

· To be the first point of contact for purchase ledger and pass any payment queries onto the Office Manage

· All aspects of filing

· To provide administrative support to Management

· All other duties commensurate job post

Sales Ledger:

· To invoice clients using the company procedures

· To send the invoices to the clients and gain approval to company procedures

· To reconcile the cash received report taking into account any CIS and retention taken.

· To reconcile the bank account

· To reconcile the credit card

· To record petty cash

· To reconcile the sales ledger, contact clients for proposed payment dates and update system to suit

· To send remittances for payments if requested

· To maintain the accounts email and print invoices, credits, statements and remittances

· To provide support to the Project Managers and deal with and administrative duties in that role.

· To be the first point of contact for sales ledger.
