This year due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, we had to celebrate a little differently, however the commitment shown by our nominee’s is the one thing that’s remained consistent in what has been a difficult year.
Springboard aims to support the development of sustainable communities where people have the skills they need for work and life, and it’s that support and those people we
celebrated last night.
Staff, employers and learners took their place in the limelight last night, socially distanced of course, and received deserved recognition for all their efforts.
This year’s event took place in our A-Spire Bistro, a huge thank you to Head Chef Lee, along with our Hospitality and Catering learners, for creating our individual boxed canape’s and Covid Secure prosecco and drinks reception.
We also had the company of Frankie and The Heartstrings front man, Amazing Radio DJ and SAFC PA announcer, Frankie Francis, who kindly hosted our evening for us. Frankie is
one of Springboard’s
ambassadors and
is a big advocate for the work our learners and employers do in our communities.
A huge thank you to every winner who came down yesterday to collect their awards and enjoy

the celebration event. We have some runner up awards we’ll be sending out next week, and then we hope to hold a watching party online where we can really showcase
all
this year’s nominees!
After what was, and still is, a very difficult year, it was more important than ever we showcased the achievements of those nominated who have Gone the Extra Mile.
