Springboard learners have been working with our business partner Engie Construction to gain an insight into the construction industry and valuable insight into the world of work.
Learners from Springboard Futures worked with Engie staff on an environmental project around their new construction site in Southwick.
Heather Miller, Community Engagement Officer for Engie said: “Engie Construction has an exciting partnership with Springboard. Working with the learners was a fantastic opportunity for ourselves and the learners. We were able to give them an insight into the construction industry and the world of work, we are looking forward to carrying this forward onto other new projects.”
Nichola Corry, SEND Team Leader at Springboard said: “Giving learners an insight into the world of work and building relationships is at the heart of what we do at Springboard, it was clear that our learners gained a great deal working with Engie staff.”
