Springboard learners were once more working in the community. In partnership with the SARA project, The Green Bean Cafe and community volunteers, our team worked to prepare the flower beds on ‘The Green’ in Southwick for summer planting.
Learner Peter said: “We love working with other people, it’s great to see that we’ve made a difference when we’ve finished, it was really nice when members of the public were stopping to talk to us and saying what a good job we were doing.”
SEND lead Nichola Corry said: “Working with the wider community and outside bodies gives our learners valuable experience of the world of work. It’s also fantastic that we are able to improve the environment in a way that people really appreciate.”
