Springboard Apprentice Elle Thompson achieves a distinction

17 Dec 2020

Springboard would like to say a very well done to our apprentice, Elle Thompson.

Elle has coped great with having to deal with lockdown within her apprenticeship. She has adapted to remote learning and overcame the many challenges that presents completing her apprenticeship because of this. She has now achieved a distinction for the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2. Elle is now progressing onto the Business Administrator Level 3.

Elle’s tutor Jasmin explains: “When I took over as Elle’s on programme assessor, due to Covid-19, she was behind with the practical evidence needed for her portfolio. She had uploaded all of her knowledge evidence onto Smart Assessor. When I assessed her work against the standard, I was extremely impressed with the quality and thorough explanations throughout. I could see immediately, Elle was way above the level 2 requirements. Elle’s work was in my opinion outstanding and I knew getting her through the rest of the qualification would be a breeze and it was exactly that.”

The feedback Elle received from her end point assessor was outstanding; she was impressed with Elle’s performance throughout her showcase. She was also impressed with Elle’s ability to find suitable alternatives for customers to make them happy and this is due to her in depth knowledge of Springboard; she knows exactly what is available; this enables her to offer a good service wherever possible.

Elle said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time completing my apprenticeship with Springboard. Working alongside experienced staff at Springboard has given me confidence and helped me to build on skills that will be beneficial for the future. During my apprenticeship I have also been fortunate enough to be offered training opportunities such as first aid. My assessors were extremely supportive throughout my qualification as they made me feel comfortable and were always there to answer any questions I had. Overall my time completing my apprenticeship has been extremely positive as it has helped me gain valuable work experience and has helped me develop as an individual. Special thanks to Jasmin Richardson, John Pooley and Andrea Tracey.”

A huge well done for all of your hard work Elle, and good luck with your Level 3.
