Springboard Futures Learners have been active in the community again taking part in “The Great British Spring Clean”. The aim of the scheme is to encourage people to volunteer within their community. Futures Learners were only too keen to join in. Learner Thomas explained: “We were asked if we would like help to improve the area where we work and we thought this was a great idea to help out, we enjoyed working with other volunteers in the community, and the area looked great when we finished.”
Vicki Neal from the SARA project said: ” The learners did a fantastic job on the Spring Clean, they are great workers and ambassadors for community involvement, well done everyone.”
