As part of our ‘Orange the World – End Violence Against Women and Girls’ campaign our Hair and Beauty learners teamed up with our Construction learners.
The Hair and Beauty learners really enjoyed it, and want to go back next week. The boys really supported them and helped them with the task.
A few of the boys had some great positive feedback about the girls;
“She is better at sawing than me”
“She doesn’t need help from me she has picked this up straight away”
“You’re better at sawing on the line than me”
When asked if they would like more girls to join their class, the Construction learners said they ‘would encourage more girls to join our class’
