Today we’ve been raising money for Children In Need. Springboard staff and learners where joined by the Ascent Trust in our Riverside Bistro, who helped out with our fundraising.
Staff and learners at The Ascent Trust held a bake sale, selling plenty of baked goods, corned beef pie, chocolate and tea and coffee. The learners had also hand made some soap bars and Spiderman masks.
We held a Name The Bear competition, which was won by Viv and The Ascent Trust, and also held a raffle for a bottle of prosecco which was won by Ashley, a learner with the Trust.
A fantastic day, and a massive thank you to everyone who got together and helped raise money for Children In Need. We managed to raise £230.30 !
