Springboards’ 4th Prince’s Trust residential took place at Allenheads last week, and we welcomed a great group of youngsters ready to get stuck in to some outdoor activities at our very own residential lodge.
The group embarked on various teambuilding activities which included nightline, an evening navigation walk, various problem solving activities as well as cooking up some lovely mince and dumplings all from scratch.
Our group also took a visit to Southlakes Safari Zoo and and Borrowdale, heading out to see all the animals was great fun, and feedback from the kids was that they all loved it!
We were also lucky to welcome Joanna Tuck, manager from Bilton Hall nursing home, who undertook the residential as support worker to the female staff.
