Last weekend was the Hetton Carnival Weekend at Hetton Lyons Country Park. Springboard in association with Events to Go Go, Sunderland Culture, Friends of Hetton Lyons County Park and St Benedict’s Hospital all pulled together to make the weekend happen.
Springboard organised water-sports activities on Hetton Lyons Lake, and our Business Development team were there the whole weekend soaking up the sun and promoting our courses.
The weekend included live music, the Puffing Billy train, a scarecrow hunt, street food stalls, kite flying displays, animal petting, fairground rides, water activities and a VW Van and Camper Club display.
