Springboard are excited to announce we have now successfully secured access to The Hetton Library.
Located within the heart of the Coalfields as part of The Hetton Centre, Springboards Hetton Hub will offer a range of services and free training to people of all ages and abilities, partners, schools and community groups, to support the development of sustainable communities, where people have the skills needed for work and life.
Building on Springboards successful 30 year history in the Coalfields, the Hub will promote and develop services and facilities for community access and activities, educational opportunities, volunteering, vocational skill development, employment readiness and also act as portal for Information, Advice and Guidance.
Springboard currently offer a range of qualifications for people aged 16-18yrs and 19yrs+ hosted within the Hetton Centre, for more information on the courses we will be running, please head to our website or email agoodall@springboard-ne.org
We look forward to announcing a launch date very soon and welcome ideas and views from everyone on how they who have used the library in the past and how they think it could best support the local community in the future!
