Our thoughtful Springboard Futures learners were very keen to help out those in need at this difficult time. Staff and learners have spent the last few weeks collecting food and vital necessities for the Salvation Army Foodbank, based in Southwick. Last week Futures learners along with staff member, Paul, dropped off the donations.
Learner Ashley, middle in above photo, said: “We know some people are having a hard time at the moment and we wanted to help. A lot of our learners do work experience at the Salvation Army, so we thought we could help their foodbank with a donation of food.”
Salvation Army worker Brian, left in above photo, said: “We have great links with Springboard and enjoy working with their learners. It was fantastic to see how thoughtful they were during these challenging times.”
