After leaving school I was looking for a training provider that offered me lots of hands-on learning and as I’ve always been interested in horticulture Springboard seemed to offer me the best options. I started with Springboard in May 2017 at Hetton Lyons Country Park and was able to learn lots of skills which enabled me to pass Level 1 and 2 in Practical Horticulture. As part of this training I was able to use these skills in the park to help maintain it to an award winning standard. Earlier this year I was able to gain full time employment as an apprentice with Ian Howe Landscaping, without the skills and knowledge I gained from Springboard I wouldn’t have felt that I could progress so easily. I would recommend Springboard to anyone who has an interest in this line of work and feels that they would benefit from a good mix of hands-on and classroom based learning. If you are prepared to put the work in then there is no limit to the benefits that you can gain.

Throughout my experience studying Level One Beauty Therapy, I was supported from start to finish from Kristie helping me through whatever I needed. Whether that being extra help on units I may have struggled on or personal one on one help that ensured me to do the best I possibly could within the diploma. Carrying on to Level Two,I started a placement which Kristie helped me find the one best fit to me.
