Our Hospitality and Catering course is delivered from A-Spire Bistro, situated at our Head Office in Pallion, Sunderland. Learners on this qualification will cover topics including food preparation and cookery, serving Springboard staff and members of the public, catering corporate events, and creating special menus.
This course is a varied course and can lead to various careers such as chef, kitchen assistant, waitress or even a hotel receptionist!
What do you need to apply for the course?
Entry Level – No previous qualifications are required for this programme, however, a pre-course interview will be required before a place is offered.
Course Costs
Courses are free if you’re aged 16-18.
Courses are also free if you’re 19+, unemployed and claiming benefits, or if you’re 19+, employed and earning less than 17k a year.
How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed via written assessments and practical assignments.
