N/A - An Apprenticeship is classed as full-time employment. You are employed by the employer as a full-time member of staff.
How will you be assessed?
An apprenticeship is a genuine job with an accompanying skills development program. Through your apprenticeship, you will gain the technical knowledge, practical experience, and wider skills you need for your job and career. You will gain this through a mix of learning in the workplace, formal off-the-job training, and the opportunity to practice new skills in a real work environment.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will complete an End Point Assessment (EPA) carried out by an independent End Point Assessment Organisation. The assessment activities are designed to best draw out your knowledge, skills, and behaviors, whilst maintaining a rigorous and impartial assessment of your abilities.
A Hair Professional Apprenticeship can lead to a number of career opportunities. The work environment can be varied in size, style, and ambiance, from a cruise ship to small bespoke salons or luxury high-end beauty salons and spas, to freelancing and creating your own business.
