Our CSCS card qualification is a free 5 working day course for those who are aged 19+, unemployed and claiming benefits. Our CSCS card qualification runs from all of our locations, and you will cover subjects such as Working at a Height, Manual Handling, Hazardous Substances, Risk and Risk Assessments and Health and Safety legislation. 

You will gain a Health and Safety Level One qualification, and if you pass this will enable you to complete and gain the CSCS card. The Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification is for learners wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme Green Card, although we are able to put you forward for other colour cards if needed. 

Our CSCS card qualification is intended for those working in, or wanting to start a career in labouring occupations only. Achievement of this qualification will demonstrate the learners understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites. 

Our CSCS card qualification is part of an Employability Skills qualification, which is designed to support an individual successfully gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field, preparing the individual for further study and supporting the development of techniques required for successful independent living.

The tasks involved in this industry can be highly specialised and labour intensive. This qualification covers all aspects of the distribution and warehousing process, from dispatching goods and materials to health and safety. Learn how to organise storage and distribution for a variety of industries. Discover how to keep the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time. You will learn stock storage, order processing and how to receive and assemble orders for dispatch.

These qualifications are available in all areas however Springboard South Tyneside also offer fork lift truck training. Full commercial courses are available.
